Guidance, Mediation and Personalised Support

Support at Every Stage of Your Journey

Undergoing traditional Āyurvedic treatment in India is an experience that goes far beyond simply staying at a clinic. Choosing a clinic, understanding the different stages of your stay and treatment, and communicating with physicians can be challenging because of linguistic and cultural differences.

For many years, I have been closely connected with the traditional Āyurvedic environment in India and have accompanied people seeking Āyurvedic treatment there.
My role is to create a link between you, the clinic and the Āyurvedic physicians, providing guidance, mediation and personalised support throughout your journey.

What the Support Includes

Before Your Departure

Good preparation allows you to approach your stay with greater confidence and peace of mind.

Depending on your needs, support may include:

guidance in navigating different Āyurveda clinics and physicians;
communication with the clinic before your arrival;
assistance with providing information and, where necessary, translation of medical documents;
help with communication with the professionals responsible for your treatment;
help understanding information provided by the clinic about your stay and treatment;
explaining quotations and practical aspects of your stay;
preparation for your stay at the clinic and for cultural differences you may encounter.

The aim is to help you approach your stay well prepared and with a clear understanding of how it is organised.

During Your Stay

A traditional Āyurvedic treatment lasting several weeks in a foreign country can give rise to many questions and uncertainties.

At such times, it can be valuable to have someone to talk to who understands your language and cultural background, and who can help facilitate communication with the clinic and the professionals responsible for your treatment.

Depending on your needs, support may include:

  • support during communication with physicians and the clinic team;

  • translation of consultations and information provided by the professionals;

  • mediation between the patient and the clinic team;

  • help understanding the different stages of treatment as explained by the professionals;

  • practical guidance throughout your stay;

  • personal presence and individual support during your stay.

Clear communication and a relationship of trust can help make your stay more comfortable and reassuring.

After Your Treatment

Returning to everyday life after several weeks of treatment can also raise questions.

If you wish, I can support you with:

understanding recommendations provided by the physicians;
help organising your return to everyday life;
help putting the advice you have received into practice;
talking through your experience after your stay.

Practical Support According to Your Needs

A stay in India also involves various practical matters.

Depending on your needs, I can assist you with:

visa-related procedures;
transfers to and from the airport;
administrative communication with the clinic;
understanding quotations and invoices;
practical questions related to your stay.

Your First Step

Each form of support is personalised and adapted to the length of your stay and the level of support you require.

For an overview of the costs related to your clinic stay, transport and support options, please visit our Fees and Practical Information page.

A first conversation will allow us to discuss your plans, expectations and the practical aspects of your stay, and to determine together which form of support is right for you.

In Harmony with Indian Traditions

If this resonates with your personal interests, I would be happy to assist in arranging complementary experiences connected with Indian traditions, such as Vedic rituals or a consultation with a Jyotiṣa (traditional Vedic astrologer), with translation support if required.

These activities are entirely separate from any Āyurvedic medical treatment and are offered solely as optional cultural and spiritual experiences for those who wish to explore this aspect of Indian tradition more deeply.
